For over 12 months, Bellarine Peninsula-based artist Linda Gallus has immersed herself in the Central Goldfields/Djaara landscape, engaging with historians and combing the archives to
re-imagine and bring to life the stories of women from the gold rush era.

To coincide with Linda Gallus' exhibition 'Calico Ceilings - Women of the Goldfields' and the 16 days of activism program, Linda Gallus will speak about her arts practice, the artwork in the exhibition and the inspiration behind it which includes the poetry of Susan Kruss from her book 'Calico Ceilings - Women of Eureka'.

Enjoy the talk, the exhibition and the company of like-minded art lovers.
