One of the cultural highlights of the Central Goldfields Art Gallery collection is the nationally celebrated Golden Textures Contemporary Art Quilt Award. Since it commenced in 2011 this prize has been awarded for outstanding contemporary Australian art quilts. 

This exhibition brings together all past winners of the Gallery’s Golden Textures Contemporary Art Quilt Award that form part of the Gallery’s collection.

The Gallery will be closed on ANZAC Day and Good Friday.

The Gallery will be closed from 4pm Sunday 22 December 2024 and reopen 10am on Thursday 2 January 2025.
