Criteria for entry:
Entries must be:
created from two or more layers of fibre-like material
held together with stitches or piercings
identifiable as an art quilt
an art quilt that has not been publicly exhibited before
an art quilt that has been created in the last 3 years
Three-dimensional art quilts are encouraged.
Artists must live in Australia.

Entry forms to be submitted to Central Goldfields Art Gallery by 5pm Friday 14 April 2023 using the online entry form below.
Cost of entry is $30. Only one quilt per artist can be submitted to the Award. Please call 03 5461 0610 to make the payment by telephone (Mon-Fri 9am–4pm). Please retain your receipt number to include on the entry form below and if you require a copy of the receipt to be sent to you please ask at time of payment, thank you.
Notification of outcome of finalists in the Golden Textures Contemporary Art Quilt Award will be made by 1 May 2023.
Successful finalists are required to deliver their quilt to Central Goldfields Art Gallery by 4pm on 9 June 2023.

Exhibition dates: 15 June 2023 – 20 August 2023
Note: Once onsite at Central Goldfields Art Gallery, quilts will be insured by the Central Goldfields Shire Council insurance cover.
At the conclusion of the exhibition, artists are required to organise the collection and return of their quilt at their own expense.
