2023 Community Art Exhibition: Showcasing local talent

The popular Community Art Exhibition will be held in the newly redeveloped Gallery in early 2023. The exhibition is open to all residents of Central Goldfields Shire and Avoca. There’s a special category for young people too.

So now is the time to think about the new artwork you will make or finish off, ready to enter into this exhibition which celebrates local creativity. 

Knitted or crocheted items – sponsored by Maryborough Craft Shop Inc.:
1st prize – $100
2nd prize – $50

Youth Awards – sponsored by Maryborough Craft Shop Inc.
Entries made out of natural and recycled materials are encouraged.
Open to primary and secondary school students from Central Goldfields Shire, Avoca and Natte Yallock.
1st prize – $50
2nd prize – $30
3rd prize – $20

To participate in the 2023 Community Art Exhibition, fill in an entry form and drop off your artwork to the Gallery (Old Fire Station, 1 Neill St Maryborough) on one of the designated drop off days along with your completed entry form and entry fee (if applicable).

Artwork drop off days:
Tuesday 31 January 10am-4pm and Wednesday 1 February 2023 10am-4pm, other times by prior arrangement with Gallery staff only.
